Better Than Ezra Foundation supports Young Audiences of Louisiana’s Lights On Celebration

Baton Rouge, LA— Marching band dancers from Eisenhower Charter take the stage for the Lights On After School concert in Duncan Plaza downtown on Thursday, October 23, 2014 Lights On New Orleans is part of a national celebration that calls attention to the importance of after school programs for America’s children, families and communities. Thirteen percent of Louisiana’s K-12 children participate in after school programs and 23% of K-12 youth are responsible for taking care of themselves after school. As part of this celebration, the Better Than Ezra Foundation is sponsoring performances by Young Audiences of Louisiana’s s professional teaching artists at New Orleans area schools.
