(from page 1)

insideout2Without sufficient insurance or other sources of funds, RT is a lifeline for many New Orleanians. Audrey and John Colin and their daughter , who is disabled from MS, recently returned to their 7th Ward home. “We went from the Superdome, to the Astrodome, and eight other places,” Mrs. Colin said. “Rebuilding Together repaired our house so we could stop evacuating. We’re finally home.”

House That Ezra Built – Add One

Bari Landry, director of Rebuilding Together of New Orleans, applauds Better Than Ezra for taking a hands-on approach. “This effort is beyond the typical fundraiser,” she said. “Not only are the band members raising funds, they also will work on the house along with their loyal fans.”

The band’s loyal fan base, called Ezralites, will be invited to volunteer on the first “House That Ezra Built” once construction is well underway. The homeowners will be selected from Rebuilding Together’s waiting list of deserving homeowners.

A limited quantity of Patron Party tickets will be sold at $250.00 per person. The concert will feature an open bar and gourmet food. Participation in the celebrity golf classic is $4,000 per foursome. For more information, call the Ezra Open hotline at 504-636-3060. Corporate sponsorships also are available.

Swing Hard Golf, LLC, and PGA Tour Professional Kelly Gibson, have been retained to manage and promote the Golf Outing on Monday September 25th. For more information please log on at www.swinghardgolf.com or call (504) 400-2455 or (504) 388-9886.
